You Can Shift Your Mindset.

Hi, Beautiful!

I am working on my mindset right now because my mood sucks.

Do you ever wake up in the morning feeling a sense of urgency, feeling stress, anxiety, fear?

That happened to me this morning, and I was like, "I got to do something about this." I have a class to teach at noon today, and I don't want to show up to that class in the state of mind where I'm feeling urgency, stress, fear, and anxiety. I want to show up and be present for class, and serve my people.

I'm a firm believer that in order to be at your best and touch the world around you in a way that is empowering, you've got to take care of yourself first. As a result you can help the people in your world in a way that will help their day be better.

So, I said no to my tasks, I said no to my email, I said no! I am going to take care of myself first and shift my mindset.

For instance, I took a walk down to the beach, here I am, smelling the salt air, listening to the waves, feeling the immense and awesomeness of the ocean. I certainly feel better.

Clearing my mind, moving my body a little so that when I show up to teach my class at noon today, I'm going to be in a good mindset, and I'm going to be better for the people that I want to serve.

So, that's just my little tip of the day. In short, Do something for yourself that helps your mindset, whether it's taking a walk, going for a run, a bike ride, roller skating, gardening, cooking, dancing in your living room. Even if it's just for 5 minutes. A lot can happen in 5 minutes! You can go from gloom to bloom!

Do those things for yourself, most importantly, to help your mindset so that you can serve the world in a way that you want to.
